Spark is an organization made up of flawed Christ followers. We desire to see others follow Him wholeheartedly and experience that joy for themselves. It is our mission to play our part in activating the faith of believers in Jesus, to enable them to move from sedentary faith to vibrant, alive, bold, and courageous faith. It is our conviction that if believers truly encounter Jesus and the unchanging truth of God’s Word, then they will join their local churches as activated participants in the explosion of the Gospel. They will take their place in the body of Christ. We desire to be a Spark that ignites the flame.
To the degree that we give our lives away for the cause of Jesus Christ, is the degree to which we will experience true and full life.
That is why we host an annual Christian conference in Roanoke, VA. Our desire is that all who attend this conference will discover their Spark...what inspires and challenges them to live as a Christ follower, not simply speak as one.
Spark was born from a vision to activate, inspire, energize and unleash the next generation of leaders into their God-given talents, giftings and callings. Our desire is that all who attend a Spark conference will leave the event more willing to jump into action. Through the teachings of on-the-ground missionaries and leaders in the Kingdom, and through an intimate worship experience, we hope to facilitate a catalytic experience for all who attend.
